Hurricane Sandy Volunteers

When Hurricane Sandy caused billions of dollars of damage to the East Coast, Recovers deployed software and support for four communities in New York City. Nearly 30,000 neighbors signed up through our software to volunteer skills or offer donation items to local organizations. Signing up rather than showing up saved time and reduced frustration for volunteers and donors. Neighbors met reported needs within hours, delivering food to stranded seniors and teaming up to remove debris.
