Ceres Community Project

Serving Recovers communities:

Ceres is a nonprofit serving Sonoma and Marin County residents facing a health challenge like cancer with meals designed to support them as they undergo medical treatment. Meals are made by youth volunteers, who learn to cook, gain job & leadership skills. As the fires took hold on Monday, we began cooking for evacuees at West County shelters. So far our volunteers have made more than 7,000 meals to nourish and care for those displaced.

For longer term support of those who have lost their homes, we have expanded our client program criteria. If you’ve been displaced by the fires and have difficulty shopping and cooking for yourself due to a medical condition, please call us at 707- 829-5833 Ext. 201 about receiving delivered meals through our client program.
