The Family Nurturing Center
Serving Recovers communities:
FNC is a family support agency serving the community’s highest-risk families with infants and children through age five. During times of crisis, we support families with children of all ages by helping with clothes, diapers, food, housing assistance, toys, furniture, books or any other challenges families are facing. We know parenting is hard under the best of circumstances and we want you to know you are not alone and we are here to help.
We offer a variety of services to keep children safe and families together. We provide children with safe, nurturing places to learn and grow while we help their parents develop the skills to manage life’s challenges, become better parents, and help them thrive, rather than just survive. Our core model relies on three things: a therapeutic classroom for children, home visiting for parents, and parent education. Programs include: • Therapeutic Early Childhood Education (Relief Nursery) • Preschool Promise Program • Respite Care • Home Visitation (Relief Nursery) • Parent-Child Groups • Parent Education and Support Groups • Child Mental Health Services • Food and Farm Program • In-Home Safety and Reunification Services (ISRS) • Family Mentor Services • Peer Parent Mentor Program/ LIFE Program • Navigator Program
